The realization of just how similar times are with how many years in between is amazing to me. This book is so relatable for so many. But back during the times of this is sad that the younger generation had to help keep families together like they did. I sit and listen to my grandparents and great grandparents on how times were for them and this book is no different. But it also shows the difference in generation of families being families. This book is one to be read! Highly recommended!
